The planning process began by comparing the Kansas vision as the best place to raise a child against our reality. The vision includes the goals of the Kansas School Readiness Framework, Promoting Safe and Stable Families, and Child and Family Services Review/Program Improvement Plan. The Kansas reality included the environmental scan, state data, experience, and evidence-based practices. The action cycle is an ongoing process in which stakeholders develop strategies in response to the vision and reality, decide on action steps, implement actions, review results, and continue to update the picture of reality, reconfirm the vision, and revise or add new strategies.
