Goal 1: Health and Safety

• Objective 1.1 Children will have health needs met.
• Objective 1.2: Children will live in safe and stable environments (parental/family resilience).
• Objective 1.3: Families will have access to quality child care while parents work or attend school.

Goal 2: Early Identification

• Objective 2.1: Children will have social and emotional needs met (social and emotional development).

Goal 3: Family Supports

• Objective 3.1: Families will gain skills to build and maintain naturally occurring support systems.
• Objective 3.2: Families will receive economic supports to meet their needs.
• Objective 3.3: Families will receive services in their communities to support stable, healthy living environments (concrete support).

Goal 4: Parent Education

• Objective 4.1: Parents will have the skills and knowledge they need to nurture healthy child development.

Goal 5: Aligning Evidence-Based Research with Public Policy and Practice

• Objective 5.1: Prevention programs in Kansas utilize evidence-based practices (EBP).
